Web Application Server:
  • Recommended: Microsoft Windows Server 2003
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2000
  • Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework
Database Server:
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later (configured with Sql Server Authentication or Mixed Mode Authentication). The application will not work on SQL Server 2000.
SMTP server is recomended to provide e-mail notification.

ANSWER: Currently Issue Tracker works on IE 6.0 or later and Mozilla FireFox 2.0 or later.

QUESTION: What folder permissions are required for Issue Tracker?
ANSWER: Issue Tracker requires the "Modify" permission to be granted for either the "Network Service" account (Windows Server, Windows Vista) or the "ASPNET" account (Windows XP) on the Upl folder.

If the permission is not granted you will see permission errors, for example, when attempting to upload an attached file.
